We're R1300 GS riders who got tired of BMW's sliding rack system creating handling issues and limiting luggage options. While BMW engineered their Vario system to slide for "wind stability," we found this movement dangerous during technical riding and frustrating when trying to mount non-BMW accessories. Our fixed-position rack solves both problems with custom molded elastic bumpers that eliminate movement while providing universal mounting compatibility.
