Detailed Description
We're R1300 GS riders who've seen too many expensive engine repairs from valve cover impacts that factory crash bars can't prevent. While competitors offer bolt-on solutions or welded systems that require complete replacement when damaged, we engineered guards that integrate seamlessly with our crash bar system for superior protection and repairability.
The proof is in the engineering: machine-formed 5000 series aluminum plates mount with stainless steel straps that provide 360-degree contact around crash bar tubes. This intimate contact prevents debris accumulation, eliminates movement, and ensures the guards stay exactly where they need to be during impacts. The inset design positions protection on the inside of the bars, reducing snag points while maintaining full coverage of sensitive valve covers and ignition components.
Available in two premium finishes - Silver with brushed stainless clamps and natural aluminum plates, or Black featuring anodized aluminum plates with electroplated stainless clamps that reveal the material's grain through the finish.
